Danielle and David

A beautiful spring-like day in February greeted Danielle and David in the Mt. Vernon Square historic area of Baltimore. Once Danielle was dressed, we crossed the street from the Peabody Court Hotel to the impressive Engineers Club at the Garrett Jacobs Mansion. This is an amazing historic home filled with large windows, gorgeous natural light, an indoor atrium and a Tiffany domed spiral staircase designed by Stanford White. We had a great time making use of all the beautiful features of this venue for pictures of Danielle with her ladies, then David and his guys before heading to the Loyola College Chapel.
The darkened rooms of the mansions were beautifully lit with candlelight for the reception and the guests provided an amazing amount of energy—dancing the night away. I loved many of the special touches Danielle and David created—carrying a fur muff instead of flowers, cutting a cannoli instead of a cake, providing an extensive dessert buffet with berries & cream, fruit mousses, and Italian pastries & topping it off with a special coffee bar. To finish this magical night, guests were able to fill boxes from jars filled with a variety of candies…a sweet end to the day.
