Freed’s Spring Office Pot Luck!

Today we had our 2nd non-annual Office Pot Luck! We are an office filled with foodies and eaters so we had a TON of food. Family and friends were invited to join for a delicious lunch. We had everything from homemade Hummus and Asian Slaw, to fresh pressed Tomato and Mozz Panini’s…something yummy called a “deli roll”, Italian Pasta Salad, Jan’s “famous” salad and a Freed office favorite..spicy chicken tenders! And as always, a wide variety of desserts (Rhubarb, chocolate and lots of whipped cream)! Special shout out to Camie’s “Pretzel Salad” and Neal’s fresh Pita!! Although we were missing some of the usual suspects..(where is our Cerviche Pablo??)..we had a great time! Can’t wait to see what we will cook up for the next one!

Melissa and Pete

The Sequoia Restaurant has one of the best views overlooking the Potomac River…the Kennedy Center on one side and the Key Bridge on the other. Melissa and Pete had a lovely ceremony outside on the terrace and the wall of windows provided guests with a great view of the twinkly lights as night fell. Melissa was a wonderfully low-key bride who expressed herself with fabulous shoes which were put to good use strolling through Georgetown and dancing the night away.
