Yes….Jayrol is his real name. It is a combination of his parents’ names- Jake and Carol. Though he is 100% Filipino, he was born and raised in the DC area. Jayrol discovered his love for photography over six years ago when he picked it up as hobby and he never looked back.

Jayrol loves portraits and photojournalism which is why he loves photographing weddings. His fun, contagious personality and keen eye make him a favorite among our staff and our clients.

He is a lover of the arts….cinema, music, food, and even played guitar in a band.

When not photographing, Jayrol loves to travel, watch movies, and get some great eats- especially white rice. (This is interesting for someone who loves food)

Jayrol says he is a nerd at heart, loves getting the latest gear. That is probably why he thinks he could be a professional gamer.
