When Joshua was 13, he was given his first SLR camera that sparked off his huge passion for photography. Born in India, he enjoyed taking photographs of the exotic flowers which color the country. He was amazed by how much beauty he could capture in a single photo
Joshua came to the USA when he was 18 and took a college class in photography, specializing in black and white film development and printing. While his career –focus led him to work as an consultant in information security, photography was always a passionate hobby he couldn’t leave alone. Friends and family would ask Joshua to take their portraits and weddings.
Realizing he had a special talent, and a particular interest in the art of wedding photography, Joshua approached wedding photography companies with his portfolio and was quickly snapped up as an 2nd photographer, before being asked to take on a leading photographer role because of his talent. His work has seen him shoot weddings in the USA, Europe and India.
Joshua says it is a privilege to photograph weddings because he believes he is capturing precious moments and memories that will be treasured for a lifetime. His strength lies in a photojournalistic style and his biggest joy is in exceeding the expectations of the company’s clients because of his creativity and eye for physical and emotional detail.
Joshua has been married for two years and lives in Alexandria, Virginia. He has a one-year-old daughter who is no longer camera shy because of Joshua’s determination to capture countless memories of his little girl.
